1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser technologies that can remember information between pages or visits. UK rules can apply to all of these technologies, not only traditional cookies.

2. Technologies used by TESTDOG

TechnologyPurposeTypical duration
Supabase authentication browser storageKeeps you signed in, refreshes your secure session and permits access to your own portal records.Persists until expiry, sign-out or browser storage is cleared.
OAuth security state / PKCE dataSecures sign-in redirects with Google, Microsoft and GitHub and helps prevent forged login requests.Temporary; normally removed or expires after the sign-in flow.
TESTDOG pending-request session storageTemporarily keeps an enquiry typed before login so it can be restored after successful authentication. For the browser-tab session or until the request is restored.
Hosting and security technologyVercel and infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary mechanisms for routing, abuse prevention, availability and security.According to the security purpose and provider configuration.

TESTDOG does not intentionally place advertising or behavioural-profiling cookies. Basic page-view measurement does not place an analytics cookie or persistent browser identifier. The server creates a privacy-safe identifier that resets daily and records the requested public page plus coarse country, region and city supplied by our hosting provider. It is used for aggregate reporting and cannot reliably identify a person; shared networks may combine multiple visitors.

Optional first-party analytics run only after consent and record event counts, a pseudonymous visitor and 30-minute session identifier, page paths, service interest, coarse referral and location information, masked network signals, and suitably redacted service searches. A network signal is not treated as a person or customer count. We do not store full AI prompts, uploaded file contents, authentication tokens, email addresses, telephone numbers, exact location or device fingerprints in behaviour analytics. Detailed analytics are normally retained for 90 days and aggregated reporting may be retained for at least 13 months.

3. Cookie consent control

Our cookie banner records whether you accept optional analytics or prefer essential storage only. Choosing essential storage only prevents the optional persistent visitor identifier, cross-page journeys, searches and AI-use events from being recorded. Cookie-free aggregate public-page counts may still be collected without writing analytics data to your browser.

You can reopen Cookie settings from the website footer and change your choice. Advertising remains switched off regardless of your analytics choice.

4. Third-party sign-in pages

When you choose Google, Microsoft or GitHub sign-in, your browser leaves TESTDOG and visits that provider. The provider may use its own cookies and browser storage under its own privacy and cookie notices. TESTDOG does not control those provider-domain technologies.

5. How to control browser storage

You can reopen the consent control below, sign out of the portal or use browser settings to view, block or delete site data. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, file upload, portal access or preservation of an unfinished request. Private-browsing modes normally delete storage when the private session closes.

6. Changes

We may update this notice when technology or law changes. The effective date above identifies the current version.

7. Contact
